Pressure and Temperature Relief Valves (PTR) are designed to relieve excess pressure caused by water expanding during the heating cycle. If the water heater thermostat fails to operate correctly, the PTR Valve will discharge hot water when the temperature reaches 99°C.

Factory set at 1000kPa.

Insulation jacket 99-7664 available to prevent thermal heat loss and protect the valve.
